Going on lemonade cleanse diet more than 10 days is dangerous

And here is my blog post of why staying  on lemonade cleanse diet for more than 10 days in not good for you.  Your body needs nourishment from the food you eat. And being on a cleanse diet for 10 days gives your body a rest from the usual work it does (like digesting, detoxing and filtering of your normal daily food intake). When this happens your body will turn its attention and focus on getting rid of your internal impurities. Which is the beauty of the cleanse.

However, when you go on fasting for more than 10 days your body will adapt to it. It will undergo on what they called "starvation mode". This is when your body thinks that there is not much food source and they are lacking of nutrients. It will then slows down the metabolism to adapt to how much food you take.

You don't want that to happen because slow metabolism while on a diet equals gaining back all the weight you lost when you get back to your normal diet PLUS more...

Also, your energy levels will drop. Food is energy and your body thinks it needs to save the energy it has because it doesn't know what the difference of a voluntary fast and a starvation.

When I first try lemonade cleansing diet, I was experiencing a lot of side effects. I was so excited how much weight I lost and decided to do it a little bit longer. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy. I was always fatigue. I can't concentrate and most of the time I am irritated. I then learned that it was because my body is lacking of energy and nutrients.

So it's not good for you to stay on the lemonade diet for more than 10 days. If you think that is necessary though, you might want  to give yourself at least 45 days after going off of it so your body will have a chance to normalize.

Another NO! NO! after lemonade cleansing is jumping right back into fast food. I know! that was my struggle too. But you don't want all that hard work to go to nothing.

After finishing the cleanse it's best to work into a long term healthy diet. You can go on a organic food diet (if you love the idea) or any type of healthy eating plan. But always make sure that your body is getting the proper nourishment it needs to run at 100%.
